1- Data Collection:
Asset data is gathered through sensors, which may depend on the specific use case.
2- Data Uplink:
FOSSA XL can act as a gateway to send data to the satellite network, otherwise LoRa devices can connect directly to the satellite. If the device is under terrestrial connectivity coverage, data will be sent to cell towers.
3- Data Downlink:
Each satellite stores the information received from the on-ground devices, and downlinks it when is on the visibility of the ground stations.
4- Data Distribution:
The on-ground information is distributed to the final user via FOSSA’s API and integrated with the IoT processing tools.
5- Intelligent Decision-Making:
Once processed, discrete data and information are transformed into actionable insights permitting a more comprehensive understanding operations.
